Calling is an irreversible process

The Jordan river is parted only when you walk in one direction. There is no way back. God always supports those who follow His will, and He would never encourage retreat. If you have left Egypt once, you have stepped on the path of faith and patience. This process is irreversible, and its outcome is either the prize of life for the conquerors, or the punishment of death for the unfaithful ones. “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.” (Luke 9:62)
