What is understanding

Knowledge always attracts people. But, unfortunately, knowledge is sought not for the sake of understanding, but rather for the sake of mystery. One seeks mystical knowledge. Eve knew the truth from God, the commandment of life, but it did not satisfy her. But the serpent have offered her knowledge of a different kind. And this yearning for knowledge led to the subsequent fall. “Then I will give you shepherds after my own heart, who will lead you with knowledge and understanding.” (Jeremiah 3:15)
