How to overcome fear

Genuine freedom is not a change in circumstance, but a change in perception. God isn’t typically interested in changing our surroundings (our circumstances) but is always interested in making a change within us. The state of fear reveals the amount of faith in a person, because fear and faith are incompatible concepts within God’s Sovereignty.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4 NKJV)
